Corporate
Charitable Contributions A corporate
charitable contribution is a donation made to a non-profit
organizattion bya business or corporation.
When non-profit organizations need to solicit
contributions, they typically hold a pledge drive. During
the pledge drive, corporations and individuals agree to
donate a certain amount of money to the charity in a lump
sum payment or over the next 12 months.
A non-profit organization with a very solid reputation
may be able to get advanced funding on its future pledges
from one of Murcor's funding sources. Based on the
non-profit organization's past history of contributions
received, one of our funding sources could advance a certain
amount of future payments. This could provide a tremendous
benefit to the non-profit organization during lean times or
if it is struggling to meet a current obligation.
